Taiji Yamazaki

Born in 1978 in Nagano Japan.
After dropping out of photography school, worked at a photo studio in Tokyo After that, he assisted the photographer, Yoshihiko Ueda. In 2008, he started his career as a professional photographer. He currently also works on video shooting.

He is active in a variety of fields, including advertising, magazines, theater, and art, and has won various awards in advertising, including the New York ADC Gold Award, the Graphic Design Japan JAGDA Award, Asahi Advertising Award and an ADC Award nomination.
His techniques and artistic qualities are highly regarded.

He takes a wide range of photographs, from portraits to still life and landscapes, and his high-quality photographs, which skillfully use light, are not only beautiful but also give the viewer an emotional aftertaste and convey a quiet, powerful message.

In recent years, he has also focused on creating works, releasing the photo book “In the Light,”which captures the beauty of natural light through portraits, and holding a solo exhibition of tranquil landscape photographs, “SIGHT.”
His lyrical style is characterized by delicate depictions of the harmony with light and universal scenes that exist in the world that he sees.
